It's not too late!

The deadline for registration has been extended to 1 March 2011. 

 

There are still places left so make sure you register asap.

 

All pilgrims who register and make a deposit through the www.wydtours.com website by Australia Day (26 January 2011) go into the draw to win a $2000 Bonus WYD Gift Certificate.

If you're not planning on attending WYD yourself, but would like to support those who are, Harvest Pilgrimages have created gift vouchers that you can purchase for a pilgrim. Hi everyone,

My name's Rebekah Fulop, I've recently been appointed as WYD Coordinator for the Archdiocesan pilgrimage. I am very excited about WYD and look forward to working in this role.

At the moment our focus is on registration. The cut-off date is coming up soon - December 31st. Make sure you register before then at www.wydtours.com. You only need to pay a deposit when you register, and have until 15 April 2011 to pay for the entire pilgrimage.

Hi all, I have almost handed over the management of the CYM Team, I am beginning to settle into my new role and am very excited to now be a part of this pilgrimage! We are now looking to appoint a part-time WYD 2011 Pilgrimage Coordinator. Once we appoint the Coordinator it will be full steam ahead! Thank you for your patience during this transition period. Hi all, WYD Info sheet ICCRS.pdfsee this link for the latest information sheet from the Pontifical Council for the Laity. It has some helpful updates on all matters to do with WYD Madrid. The Canberra Goulburn pilgrimage will be available any day on the Harvest website which will mean that registrations can also commence. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly or post a question on this page. Also, if you know others who are interested to keep up to day with our preparations for WYD 2011 then feel free to use the "invite more people" link at the top of the page to invite them to join this group. It will be a few weeks before Daniela Kesina starts in the role of Archdiocesan Coordinator for Youth and Young Adults.

Dear all,
As you might be aware over the past few months we have been in the process of recruiting a new Archdiocesan Youth and Young Adults Coordinator. After consultation with Archbishop Mark I am pleased to announce that Daniela Kesina has accepted the position. Daniela has been the CYM Team manager now for about three years and we are very blessed as a CatholicLIFE team and as an Archdiocese to have Daniela say yes to this important senior position in the Archdiocese. It is possible that due to the need to recruit a new CYM Team manager and for Daniela to take some annual leave that she will not start in the role for a few weeks.

Thanks Rachel, you have done a fantastic job in getting us this far with our preparations. I know I speak for many in saying that you will be sorely missed in our Archdiocese! We look forward to some updates from time to time regarding your next adventure in Grace :)
