I'd like to know what you think these terms mean? Is there a specific age range associated with each term or is it more vague?

Dear all,
As you might be aware over the past few months we have been in the process of recruiting a new Archdiocesan Youth and Young Adults Coordinator. After consultation with Archbishop Mark I am pleased to announce that Daniela Kesina has accepted the position. Daniela has been the CYM Team manager now for about three years and we are very blessed as a CatholicLIFE team and as an Archdiocese to have Daniela say yes to this important senior position in the Archdiocese. It is possible that due to the need to recruit a new CYM Team manager and for Daniela to take some annual leave that she will not start in the role for a few weeks.

In Christ,

Shawn

Young adults, well I've just left that age group, but I can tell you from living in London that what brought loads back to the Church was lots of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, works nicely with either some Taize chants/gentle worship style music, the Rosary and/or Divine Office along with the daily Mass Gospel and than personal prayer with opportunities to go to confession. Afterwards we would than go to the local for a beer. It really was very successful in maintaining Catholic young people and ensuring it wasn't just a hyper session but reembering who bought them there.

From World Youth Day the lovely Sr Mary Rachel from Nashville Tennesse said 2 significant events stood out for her, firstly at Receive the Power when hundreds of thosands of youth went from singing and dencing to adoring Christ on their knees, ON THE CONCRETE when our Lord's presence was brought out in the Blessed Sacrament, secondly the following night at the awesome Godly Prayer Vigil with the Holy Father, where again pumped up young and young at heart people went from singing and dancing to yet again an adoring body when Our Lord was bought out in the Blessed Sacrament, showed that Christ and Christ alone was why all these young people came to Sydney. If one had whispered at either event everyone would've heard them.

It was also a sight to behold at the opening Mass to see the hype turn into reverence during the consecration, yet again on the concrete.

God Bless and thanks for reading...
